Tanlin specifically targets Fungus Gnat larvae, preventing them from developing into adult flies. Tanlin is added to your plants water / nutrient mix and absorbed by the plant. As the Fungus Gnat larvae feed on the roots, they consume Tanlin, which halts their development and eventually leads to their demise. By disrupting the life-cycle of the pests, Tanlin significantly reduces and eventually eliminates the infestation problem.
