Segmental timers split the day into 15 minute segments which can be set to either ‘on’ or ‘off’. Their simple operation makes them the preferred choice for many applications over their digital equivalents.
Standard segmental timers are limited in the electrical load that they can handle. Therefore we DO NOT advise using these for HID lighting. For HID lighting use either a heavy duty timer for a single light or a contactor for multiple lights.
