ControlLED have come together with one of the leading commercial manufacturers of LED lighting to produce a first-to-market, all-in-one adjustable spectrum LED.

The Dio-Tech 830W LED combines top end Osram Chips with an in-built LCD control panel making using any ControLED lighting solution both efficient and ergonomic.

The primary fixture can be used as a stand-alone fixture and fires up in F1 mode, which is the flowering setting that has all red and blue diodes engaged.

The primary unit can control up to 49 other satellites fixtures each will be controlled and will act exactly the same as the primary unit including controlling the Infill bars if fitted.

The primary unit has the same diodes as the Dio-Tech satellite fixture but with more functionality. The primary unit can be photo period specific and can be switched easily with a press of the button between various modes changing the spectrum each time. The LED has two main spectrum settings V1 and F1.

The V1 setting is aimed at the vegetative plants and can be dimmed right down to 1% which equates to 150W, this gentle, predominantly blue light will give the growers shorter internodal spacing, fatter stems and more flowering sites. In the V1 mode the LED fixture can be turned up to 730W. If the user has infill bars running in V1 setting, then 100W will be added to what the main fixture is set at. Note that the infill bars do not dim, only the main fixture.

Once in flower the primary unit can be set to the F1 setting, this is the flowering setting and will turn on all the diodes both blue and near red, in this mode the unit can be turned right up to 830W giving excellent results. When used with infill bars expect even bigger yields, especially lower down the plant as the far-red diodes mix with the main fixtures near red. This mixture of light enables the spectrum to reach far into the plants canopy producing unparalleled yield for wattage output.

Infill bars are sold separately and can be used at any time throughout the plants cycle, it all depends on which type of plants and what results the grower wants. When the infill bars are on, the user will add 50W per infill. These bars cannot be dimmed so an increase of 100W will be added to the overall wattage output.

Unlike other brands the infill bars designed by ControlLED plug directly into the main fixture eradicating the need for an external timer and unwanted cables that often unbalance the main fixture throwing light into unwanted areas of the grow room.
